FLOWER SYMBOLISM SERIES

A tapestry crochet series of intricate averagely 18,000 single crochet stitches per surrealist piece, weaving together human forms and flowers to explore the African woman's silent struggle for peace, identity, and wholeness.  Rooted in Psalms 103:14-17, each piece invites those battling inner turmoil to find belonging and calm in the fragile, luminous resilience of a flower.
